Goodbye 2020

Updated: Jan 31, 2021

@AmandaRagusa1 Top Nine 2020

Though the year was not what we expected, I hope we all close this chapter with more gratitude and moving more slowly and present.

This year started off with a hangover after Pat and I drank a whole bottle of champagne and then some. Little did we know what was to come.

Through working from home majority of the year, getting outside more, safely traveling to Nashville (in February) then to Scottsdale (in October), seeing my sister from another era get married, moving in with my boyfriend.. this year wasn’t lacking.

I am extremely grateful.

I have learned a lot, too, in the darker moments.

I won’t be going into detail on those moments, but the tools I have to pull me out have helped. Bringing me out stronger and more myself. True to myself.

I am excited for 2 0 2 1.

I have goals, not resolutions (which seems to be the theme on social).

I’m going to move through the next year with more INTENTION.

Cheers to growth and intention.

I wish you all a safe and healthy 2021.

The last couple of years I chose a word to focus on. There are quizzes you can do to get a word, but with where I want my life to go I’ve decided INTENTION is what I want to focus on. Resolutions have this weird reputation and gives me, personally, a bad taste in my mouth. I haven’t had one for a few years now. This year is goals with intention. 😊 What’s your word of the year?? Let’s chat goals too! Cheers 🥂 to 2021 girl!!!

I love the idea of viewing it as goals and not as resolutions. The focus on being intentional is super great! Thanks for sharing and cheers to 2021!!!
